Missionary Boot Camp - Part 2

Our 4 day survival camp is over and we have returned to base camp... I thought you all... or at least my mom... would be interested in seeing pictures of our new place...

NMSI -CGO... New Mission Systems International - Center for Global Outreach... is located in Fort Myers, Florida... they own a city block minus 1 lot... the front is a mini-mall with a floral-coffee shop, funeral parlor, small something-or-other church and the upstairs being the CGO offices...

The back of the block is a combination of houses, duplexes and other structures waiting to be torn down... They are starting some major construction this year and almost everything is being torn down... including the house we are now in...

Our house... for the next 8 weeks... was just purchased and they did a great job of fixing the inside... although at first glance the outside was a bit scary... and this is coming from a guy whose been living in the third world...

Now that we are back from missionary survival camp its time to dig in our heals and get settled... we spent 4 nights at ECHO... 2 nights at the NMSI-CGO... and then 3 nights at missionary survival camp on Fort Myers Beach... suffering for the Lord... it is nice to be in a house and knowing we'll be staying here for more than a week... so I think today we will officially unpack our bags...

The drill Sargant is calling and chow is at 18 hundred hours... so I need to go polish my boots and clean the latrine... more to come...

The fire extinguister hanging out on the kitchen sink is hilarious!! Is that in case you cook or if the oven self distructs?? Just curious =)
