Weekend of Fun…draising…

It’s hard to find a missionary that looks forward to fundraising… most would rather be staring at a hole and a stack of banana leaves to the side… after a bad meal…

Most would rather go back to supporters and tell stories of the work God is doing and watch money magically appear to meet every need… without having to ask…

I’ll take this past weekend over a trip to “the hole” any day of the week…

I felt loved, cared for and encouraged… thanks to all!

The weekend felt like a 26.2 mile sprint… but there was enough caffeine and ginseng to pull me through to the finish… today will require a nap…

Everywhere I went I was blown away how many people came out to hear about our ministry in Uganda…. and hoping to hear another story about Noah and Kadin…

It felt like a reunion… seeing our church family and friends as well as the countless visitors who have passed through our home in Uganda…

2.5 years have passed since we headed off to Uganda but the relationships are still strong… and with so many it seems like you’ve been there every day with us…

So to all you Blogger groupies who track our journey through the jungle… thanks for keeping us close… we know we are gone but never forgotten… any missionary would be blessed to have a supporting family to come home to like ours…

never forgotten because love that is chose in free will is infinently stronger and more meaningful than love followed blindly or by default...I know what you mean
