GBI Nomads...

At this point it will take more than a collapsing roof to discourage the students of GBI... they are ready to move to Buloba!

By 8:10 AM the students had set up a classroom outside the school and they were set for class...

The 6000 books in the library were being re-located to a downstairs classroom and the teachers lounge had been transformed into a classroom...

It is so rewarding for me to see the excitement of the students over our move to the new campus... even while our current campus is collapsing...

While the students moving furniture and staff were busy  convincing the landlord that the problem was serious... I was off meeting with the contractors, land surveyors, electricians and water surveyors at the new campus...

There is work to be done on the new campus but I am confident that we will be there in January... or earlier if our current roof falls...

By the time I got back it seemed the students were used to the idea of taking classes outside... as the rain clouds formed all around...

Our staff did a great job of convincing our landlord that there was need to fix the roof... now we are praying that it can be resolved without any injuries or damage to our property...
