Kadin's class field trip...

... to mom's farm...

For a boy who loves animals... and teaching his classmates... a field trip to mom's farm was about as close as you can get to a perfect day of school for Kadin...
Around 10 AM the buses pulled up to the campus and the students walked in straight lines to the GBI dinning hall where Christine answered some amazing animal questions...

Unfortunately this took place almost a month ago... I do remember laughing at most of the questions and thinking about blogging them... but now all I can remember is laughing and wanting to blog...

After the Q&A the children were herded over to the farm where they got to walk through the rabbit barn... and also met our 12 goats...

The children then received an assignment to feed the animals and draw pictures of them...

By this time the sun was beating down on everyone... so they grabbed a quick snack and jumped back into the buses...

Kadin was the host of the day... making sure that every child knew everything there is to know about goats and rabbits...

His teachers say he slept the entire bus ride home... which was pretty amazing since the police had to escort the bus the final mile to school as the rioters threw rocks at the bus and smashed in a window...

It is amazing how God can protect children from memories they don't need to keep... to this day his biggest worry in life is... "when are mom and dad going to buy me a donkey?"

Only Kadin!
